Walter Timothy Reed (Timothy U.S. Reed), 53, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at home. He was born on September 7, 1964, the son of Ben Douglas Reed and MaryAnn House.
Timothy attended Battle Creek Central High School and graduated with the Class of 1984. He was affiliated with and was an active member of the First Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Battle Creek. He owned and operated his own business in Battle Creek for several years, Signature Touch Reed's Upholstery.
Timothy is survived by his Three Sons, Brandon D. Reed, Timothy Reed, Antonio Reed; Three Daughters, Alicia Reed, Tia Reed, Sylvia Pittman-Reed; Six Brothers, Wayne Clyde House, Wayne Clyde Rockyee-House, Benny Green, Edward Green, Junior Douglas Reed, Karl Reed; Three Sisters, Charlotte Reed, Patricia Ann House, Linda Wolford and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father, Ben Douglas Reed, Mother, MaryAnn House, Brother, Wayne House and the woman who raised him, Oreatha Reed.
Timothy's true passion was basketball, he loved spending time coaching and playing basketball with kids all over the community and at the YMCA. Timothy enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren that he could spend time with, and spoil while they were growing up. Timothy had a big heart that was loved by many.
