Obituary for William Russell Boyer Jr.
William (Bill) Boyer Jr, 66, of Battle Creek, Michigan, peacefully passed on Friday, April 22nd in the tender care of the staff at Evergreen Manor and Grace Hospice.
Bill is a proud graduate of Battle Creek Central. He dedicated his life to caring for others beginning with his family, whom he loved deeply and that meant the world to him. He spent years dedicating time to various volunteer organizations including the Lions Club, Moose Lodge and Bronson Battle Creek. As busy as he was, Bill always made time to play 9 holes with his friends or take his granddaughter to the park.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents William and Catherine Boyer. He is survived by his loving wife, Marieanne Boyer; daughter, Katherine (Micheal) Kieffer; son, Bradley Boyer; granddaughter; Izabella Boyer and grandson, Oliver Rouse.
Visitation to be held at Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, with a small memorial after.
The family requests that any donations be made in Bill’s honor to First Tee of Battle Creek to encourage the love of golf for future generations.
