Obituary for William Harris Hopkins Jr.
William Harris Hopkins Jr., 48, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was born on May 24, 1973, the son of William Harris Hopkins Sr. and Mildred (Sloan) Hopkins.
Bill graduated from Lakeview High School. He was currently employed at Goodwill Industries on Beckley Road. Bill enjoyed watching crime investigation shows on television, and working. He loved to help others, especially his dad. He was considered a gentle giant at work and many people will remember him for his willingness to help whenever it was needed. He will be truly missed.
Bill is survived by his father, William (Nes) Hopkins Sr.; grandmother, Mary Wright; Sister, Cherylyn Jordan; uncles, John Hopkins, Dennis (Colleen) Wright; aunts, Denise (Tom Hammock) Wright, Brittany (Matthew) Johnson and their two children; cousins, Blaine (Mikayla) Hammock and their three children, Deanna Hopkins, Dustin (Lacey) Hopkins, Dale Hopkins Jr.; nieces and nephews, Ali, Tori, Devon. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Hopkins and uncles, Dale Hopkins, Bruce Hopkins.
Visitation for friends and family will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
