Obituary for Yvette Bonita Newton (Tucker)
Yvette Bonita Newton, 55, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. She was born on August 14, 1965, the daughter of Billy Joe Tucker and Leatrice (Buford) Fowler.
Yvette was an active member of the Community Missionary Baptist Church in Battle Creek.
Yvette is survived by her Husband, Dennis Newton; Four Children, John Young, Terrell Newton, Billy Joe Young, Sherrell Morrow; Sisters, Jackie, Latina; Brother, Eric, 13 Grandchildren and a host of all other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Son, Jeramy Young, Sister, Sherry and Brother, William.
Yvette was a social butterfly, she enjoyed talking with people and making new friends. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, singing and watching movies. Her main passion in life however, was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the funeral service immediately following at 12:00 pm (noon) with Pastor Sheldon B. Williams officiating.
Interment will take place in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Following current state and local restrictions, 25 people can be in attendance at a time.
