Barbara Carole Birdsong, 80, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord, her husband and her daughter on Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was born on January 7, 1937, the daughter of Frank Johnson and Nora (Conn) Johnson.
Barb is survived by her Two Daughters, Lisa (Herb) May of Battle Creek, MI and Debra Hay; Son, Phillip Birdsong; Five Granddaughters, Melanie, Paula, Audrey, Heather and Lorren; Four Grandsons, Jason, Joseph, Jacob and Travis and 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Fiancé, Gordy Mitchell and his loving family. She was preceded in death by her Father, Frank Johnson, Mother, Nora Johnson, Late Husband, Donald Birdsong and Daughter, Michelle Foster.
Barbara enjoyed donating money to help out other people. Barbara loved to go dancing, she enjoyed the music as well as different dance styles. Barbara loved to play the piano. She loved to collect horse memorabilia. She loved to travel and see the different states. Above all else, Barbara loved her family. She would do anything for them in a heartbeat. She was the heart of the family that would help out and put everyone else before herself.
