Ellen Marie Conroy, 81, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017. She was born on March 28, 1935, the daughter of Clyde Hapner and Bernice (Vaughn) Hapner. She was the youngest of eight children.
She worked at Kellogg's for many years prior to moving to Florida with her husband. Together they opened E.T.'s Cleaning business in Fort Myer's.
Ellen is survived by her Sister, Barbara Fries (Hapner); Son, Rick Peavey; Daughters, Pam (Stan) Zemke, Kim Vieira, and Val (Ed) Cline; eight Grandchildren, Nick (Jennifer) Zemke, Andrea McDonald, Rachel (Chris) Underwood, Nicole Vieria, Alyssa (Isaac) Butler, Chase Vieria, Rebekah Cline, and Josiah Cline; 13 Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Ellen enjoyed fishing, spending quality time with her family and friends, eating at the Chinese buffet, and taking long walks with her devoted dog Suzie-Q.
