Kenneth Robert Mathis, 65, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at home. He was born on September 12, 1951, the son of Robert Mathis and Helen (Balson) Mathis.
Ken served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Ken is survived by his Wife of 41 years, Yvonne Mary (Watts) Mathis of Battle Creek, Michigan; Son, Kevin Kenneth Mathis of Battle Creek, MI; Daughter, Jennifer Anne Mathis; Two Sisters, Barbara and Mary. He was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Mathis and Mother, Helen Mathis.
Kenneth loved astronomy. He enjoyed history and finding out where it all began. He could always get lost in a good movie. He enjoyed building things with his hands. Above all else, he loved his family. His wife and children meant the world to him. He liked spending as much time with them as he could.
