Patricia Ann Abercrombie - Decker 78 of Marshall formerly of Battle Creek passed away August 15, 2017. She was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan August 24, 1938. She is the daughter of Orville H and Rosemarie (Hoaldey) Mead. She worked various restaurants as a waitress and the final 24 years at Keys Davis Co as a press operator retiring in 2002. After 2 marriages that ended in divorce, she met and married Harry Decker 2012; sadly he preceded her in death 2014. She enjoys watching birds, taking care of her dog and cats. Also help raising her grandchildren and spend time with the family. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and the game “Train”. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Rosemarie Mead. She is survived by brothers Skip Mead and David Mead of Battle Creek; Sons Rick (Cheryl) Smith of Franklin, PA and Rodney Smith of Dayton, TN Daughter Zina (Rich) Bennett; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who know her. A memorial service will be held at Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service September 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness, Humane Society, Binder Park Zoo, and Battle Creek Community Foundation.
