Obituary

As beautiful as the morning sunrise and the night sunset Antwoine T. Davis was blessed from the heavens to Johnson H. Davis and Wilma Jean Davis Bouyer on December 30, 1973 with the most loving, humble heart and soul this realm could ever have or imagine.

Anwtoine attended BCCHS where she participated in extra curriculum activities such as Band and Track and Field, Graduating in the year 1992. Motivated to pursue her dreams she went straight to college at KCC and Wrights Beauty Academy. Throughout her career she worked for herself as a Cosmetologist doing nail and hair; a teacher for the Higher Learning Program at Washington Heights, Battle Creek Hospital, V.A. Hospital as a Nursing Assistant, Summit Pointe Autism Center and Summit Pointe Housing as a Case Manager. She always had a gentle and giving spirit, a huge pillar in her community. For many years she threw community events for Battle Creek families and children as well as raised and provided donations to unfortunate family during holidays. She has been a part of The BCCF Liveable, Community and Neighborhood Grant making Committee and recently appointed a position on the Board of Battle Creek Homeless Shelter Inc. Antwoine is the Founder of Jewels Kissed by Khari and Concrete Rose Foundation. Co-Founder of Sister turning pain into purpose.

Antwoine was as perfect as perfect can be. She fell nothing short of it even though she would call herself perfectly flawed. Her soul was pure. Personality was beautiful. It showed inside and out. She had a contagious presence, a special glow that would pour out a radiance leaving people with more hope, endurance, positivity, and strength.

Anwtoine kept a close relationship with The Most-High. A spiritual and faithful woman who was creative in everything she did. She is the backbone of the family she created and has always put them first. She had a passion for making and listening to music, singing, and writing (poetry, songs, letters, etc.).
She was a Superwoman and best friend to her children and a pillar to her community. Antwoine was truly a Virtuous, Unique, and Loving woman who was very talented and headstrong. She was a special, one of a kind, extremely rare person that this world could use more of.

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service at 1:00 pm.
