Barbara J. Drake, age 73, of Bellevue, MI, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 surrounded by family. She was born August 23, 1940 to LaVern & Anna Mae Lake in Battle Creek, MI. She enjoyed Bingo, playing slot machines, and watching birds. Barbara loved her dog, cooking and having family cookouts. She always had candy and would give to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she dearly loved spending time with.

Barbara is survived by her children, Duane Odette, Earl Odette, Mike (Kim) Odette, Rick (Pam) Odette, Jeff (Kerry) Odette, Tina (Clayton) Milbourn, Terry (Carmen) Odette, Tracy Odette, Katrina (Rodney) Rapp; step-children, Jeff (Tina) Day, Wallace (Tina) Drake, Jr., Lisa Kilbourn; 33 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Drake, Linda (Tom) Bates; brother, Lewis (Sharon) Lake; sister-in-laws, Patricia Lake, Mary Burbank, Jackie Lake, and brother-in-law, Lonnie Camburn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Drake, Sr., parents; sister, Patricia Bates; Darlene Camburn; brothers, Terry Lake, John Lake, Fred Burbank, Robert Burbank, Lavern Lake, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Tammy Odette; step-son, Michael Drake; and brother-in-law, Marvin Bates.

Family will receive friends on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 2:00pm-4:00pm & 6:00pm-8:00pm at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 12:00noon at the funeral home with Pastor David McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Assyria Township Cemetery.
