Barry Timothy Johnson 50 of Battle Creek, Michigan peacefully went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Select Specialties Hospital of Battle Creek. He was born on July 1, 1964 the son of Roy William Johnson and Gloria Jean (Norris) Johnson.
Barry worked for Hoffman Brothers Excavating first as laborer, foreman and later as a consultant. He retired in 2010 but went back to do consultant work.
Barry is survived by his Wife of 30 years - Carla (Grevious) Johnson of Battle Creek, Michigan; Two Daughters, LaTisha (Andre Robertson) Johnson, LaBresha (Joseph II) Babcock; Granddaughter, Trinity Babcock; Grandson, Joseph Babcock, III; Sister, Jeanette Umstead; Two Brothers, Roy Johnson, Tommy Johnson; special friend/Brother in Law, Carl Grevious; two special friends Dan Erikson, Wallace Graham; Three Nephews, Kenny Permelia, William Johnson, Micheal Johnson; Two Nieces, Crya Grevious, Gloria Johnson; a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Barry's favorite things were fishing and helping others. He enjoyed cooking and BBQ. His family was his world and he loved to spend time with them.
