Bill Morris, 75, of Portage, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2014 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1939, the son of William and Inez (Morrow) Morris.
Bill served in the US Army as an MP, stood guard at Arlington and the Pentagon, and was then employed by Allied Paper.

Bill is survived by his Daughter: Laura Cross; Nephews: Steve (Kim) Morris, Matt Morris, Nate Morris, Mark Morris and Gregg Morris; Niece: Susie (Chris) Sandoval; Sister-In-Law: Karen Morris and Special Friend: Carolyn Stevens. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brothers: Edward & Donald Morris.

Friends will be received at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, Battle Creek, on Friday March 21, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
A graveside Service will be held at the Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Friday March 21, 2014 at 1:00 PM.
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
