Bradley Keith Brunton, 58, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on April 30, 1960, the son of Bruce and Evelyn Brunton.

Brad graduated from Illinois Valley Central High School in 1978. He was a semi-truck driver and employed by Prins Trucking and an active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

Brad is survived by his two sons, Dustin and Eric Brunton. His mother, Evelyn Brunton. Brothers Russ Brunton, Mort Schonberger, Donald Mullenix and Bill Lazarus and the mother of his children, Christine Brunton. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Brunton.

Brad was an avid baseball and football fan. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, morel mushroom hunting and playing pool. He had a passion for music and coaching little league baseball.

Family would request funeral attire be baseball related (your favorite hat/shirt/jersey). In lieu of flowers, we ask memorials and contributions be made to the Battle Creek Central Baseball Program.

I have known Brad for 7 years. He has been so good to me. This man was as o thoughtful. He always knew what ty o say to make things better. You could tell him anything, and not be judged. His family meant the entire world to him. I feel I know them, through his words. I know God needed him, but, it doesn't make it any easier that we have lost him. I'm grateful that he felt on top of the world....he was in such an awesome state of mind. He truly loved life, family, and music. I will always miss my friend, Brad!

Please accept my sympathy for your loss. I know the family and friends of Mr. Brunton will greatly miss him. During times such as this, in addition to the comfort we receive from family and friends, God assures us at James 4:8 that if we draw close to him, he will draw close to us. He further comforts us at John 5:28 by saying that the day is coming on which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. He encourages us to put faith in his promised resurrection. During my time of mourning I found the forgoing scriptures very helpful and it is my sincere hope that you will too. Sincerely, L. Burham

Dustin and Eric...your dad was a wonderful and loving father to you both. You two live on in him as he has taught you many of life's lessons to also be good men, faithful and loving mates, and conscientious and hardworking employees. I know he was proud of you both and all you have accomplished! Be comforted knowing God was with him during this tragedy and that God is with you both comforting and loving you in your pain and grief.
I am looking for the picture of your summer baseball team when you all were about 15. I will get that to you.
love and hugs, Brenda Jones
