David Lee Ludwick, 78, of Bellevue, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He was born on August 5, 1940, the son of the late Harold and Ruby (Detamore) Ludwick. David is survived by his wife, Nancee (Engeseth) Ludwick; sister, Jean (Sam) Schultz; brothers, Olan (Faye) Ludwick and Dale (Nancy) Perry; sons, David (Chrissy) Ludwick II and Joseph Hensley; daughters, Amie (Ted) Chapman and Darla Villeneuve; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; mom, Ruth Ludwick; brother, James Ludwick and sister, Sara Lee Philo.

He worked at Kellogg's for 34 years and was a member of the 25 Club. David was the owner of Curly Q Drive-In and Bellevue Drive-In. He served as a volunteer fireman in Bellevue Fire department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing shuffleboard. David loved to drive around on his John Deere Tractor.

I will miss Uncle Dave. God ha blessed him and I know he will be in heaven with Daddy & Mama (James & Connie) and Grandpa & Grandma Ludwick. Nancee and family may you find comfort in knowing he had a wonderful life and a great wife and family. May God be with you all.

I remember David from when I was a little girl. He might stop into his parents store on Beadle Lake Rd and I would see him there. I grew up and years later discovered we lived 3 miles apart and each had an alpaca farm. We spent some memorable times together with our animals. We will miss you David. ❤

I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was such a good man. I really miss the fun times we had at he alpaca shows. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
