Douglas Mark  Daniels
Douglas Mark Daniels, 58, of Dowling, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 17, 1959, the son of James Russell Daniels and Marilyn (Greer) Calladine.
Doug graduated from Lakeview High School in 1978. After he finished high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1980 to 1984. He worked at the Federal Center for 30+ years as an equipment specialist and program analyst before his retirement in December of 2015. He and his wife attended Pleasantview Family Church.
Doug is survived by his Wife and soul mate of 28 years - Candace Jean (Bivens) Daniels; Daughter, Eileen (Tony Markos) Spenelli; Son, Dennis (Rebecca) Spenelli; four Grandchildren, Anthony, Ethan, and Abby Spenelli, and Hailie Markos; Parents, James (Shirley) Daniels, Marilyn (Ralph) Calladine; Sister, Barbara (Charles) Upshaw; two Brothers, Timothy (Carol) Daniels, Gregg (Dawn) Daniels, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family.
Doug loved to Golf, it was by far his favorite. In his younger years, he loved to bowl and go fishing. He also enjoyed swimming, boating, and wintering in Florida with his wife Candy. He was a great man with a big heart who will be missed dearly by all the lives he has touched.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday August 30, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Friday, August 31, 2018, at 12:00 pm with Pastor Steve Olmstead of Pleasantview Family Church officiating.
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to: Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Care Center, Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute of Sebring, or Pleasantview Family Church.
