Obituary

Douglas Huxmann, 76, a lifelong resident of Battle Creek, died peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2019, with his wife Connie, by his side. Doug is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Eloise Huxmann.
Doug graduated from Lakeview High School in 1962. He then graduated from KCC and attended MSU. Doug also served 4 years in the United States Air Force.
Doug is survived by his wife of 47 years, Connie, his sister, Kathy and Dick Cornwell, and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being made for a family remembrance at a later date.

Dear Connie I am so sorry for your loss.I am so blessed to have worked with Doug and become to know you as well. Doug was a very dear man. I am going to miss seeing him out and about in your yard as I drive by. May you find peace. Love Earl Tina and Camille Lewis

So sorry to hear of Doug's passing Connie, I really enjoyed working and talking with him over the years. In fact, I was just thinking of him about a week ago and thought, why haven't I seen him. I wish you all the best and my deepest sympathies. Bob Surprenant
