Earl "Bones" C. Sutton, 74, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. He was born on November 10, 1939, the son of Charles Gene Sutton and Cora (Ashley) Sampeer.
Earl served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was employed at Cellofoil and the Haven of Rest.
Earl is survived by his Son: Matthew Wayne Sutton of Baltimore, MD; Daughter: Stacy Lynne Sutton of Battle Creek, MI; Granddaughter: MaKenna Lynne Madsen of Battle Creek, MI and Former Wife: Susan Porter of Battle Creek, MI. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother: Terry Sutton.
Earl loved playing and coaching softball. He was an avid sports fan and a UofM fan.
A memorial service will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, on Friday, August 29, 2014, 2:30 pm with Pastor James Codde officiating.
