Eleanor Louise Hagen, 88, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at The Oaks at Northpointe Woods. She was born on July 8, 1926, the daughter of Frederick and Theresa (Van Der Meer) Kornoelje.
Eleanor is survived by her Sons: Duane (Patti) Hagen, Alan (Terry) Hagen and Arlan Hagen; Daughters: Janice (Tony) Gaskell and Julie Hagen-Yancer; Special Grandson: Keith Nunn; 12 Grandchildren & 23 Great Grandchildren; Brothers: James (Carolyn) Kornoelje and David Kornoelje; Sisters: Catherine Spears and Florence (Joseph) Wright; Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband of 46 Years: Einar Duane Hagen; Brothers: Fred, Frank, John and Robert Kornoelje.
Eleanor enjoyed playing the piano and lead children's worship at her church when she was younger. She was a loving wife and mother to their 5 children. Her passion was her family and her faith.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Monday February 23, 2015 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at 10 AM.
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
