Esther MacDonald, 77, of St. Louis, MO, died, Wednesday, April 17, 2013. She was born January 23, 1936 the daughter of the late Harold W. Lehman and Cora Marie (Spooner) Lehman.
Esther graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1953 and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was employed as a secretary at Post Cereals and also the Family Counseling Services of Battle Creek.
Esther is survived by Husband of 59 Years: Jack L. MacDonald of Saint Louis, MO; Son: David (Beth) MacDonald; Daughter: Julie DuFour; Grandchildren: Chelsea MacDonald, Anna Marie MacDonald, Brooks Lamson and Nicholas Lamson; Great Grandchildren: Harper Gorordo and Jackson Gorordo; Nephews: Steve MacDonald and Brian MacDonald; Niece: Linda (MacDonald) McIlroy. She was preceded in death by her Parents and her Brother: Herbert W. Lehman (1956).
She was a volunteer for many Church Activities at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church in Ballwin, MO and also volunteered her time for the Circle of Concern Food Pantry in Valley Park, MO. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 4 PM to 7 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Riverside Community Church, 601 Riverside Drive, on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 11AM.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
A memorial Service for Esther will also be held on May 2nd at 10:00am at St.Mark's Presbyterian Church, 601 E.Claymont Dr. Ballwin, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marks Presbyterian Church 601 E. Claymont Dr. Ballwin, MO or St.Luke's Hospital Hospice, Chesterfield, MO.
