Evelyn Lois Little, 96, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Evergreen Senior Care & Rehab Center. She was born on January 2, 1919, the daughter of Edward James Sims and Nellie Mae (Murdock) Sims.
Evelyn is survived by her two sons, Bruce (Linda) Dailey of Appleton, WI, James (Susan) Berry of Loveland, CO; two daughters, Mary Jo (Phil) Somerville of Pharr, TX, Barbara (Bud) Burrill of Nashville, MI; 15 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, ; 4 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Little, father, Edward James Sims, mother, Nellie Mae Sims, daughter, Diana Neal, brother, Edward Sims.
Evelyn loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of First Assembly of God for many years and volunteered for dinners at the Salvation Army.
A Memorial Service was held at the Ft Custer Christian Assembly on December 22, Pastor Muirhead officiated.
Evelyn would prefer any contributions given to Ft Custer Christian Assembly Church.
