Fred James Sebright, 75, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. He was born on November 25, 1938, the son of Ferdanand George Sebright and Marie Elizabeth (Dollaway) Miller.
Fred retired from Kellogg's after 28 years and is a member of the Kellogg's 25 Year Club. He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge.
In Fred's younger years he was an avid bowler, enjoyed hunting, fishing, the horse races and played cards at Armstrong's card room. In his later years he enjoyed playing pool and entering pool tournaments. He never missed a Tiger's Baseball game or reading the daily newspaper.
Fred is survived by his sons John (Lori) Sebright, Randy (Linda) Sebright, daughter, Vicki Sebright, brother Donald Sebright, sister Geri Burbank, 8 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his former wife Beverly Sebright, daughter, Kimberly (Sebright) Bauman, parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Tuesday November 11th from 6pm to 8pm.
A private family service will be held at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1490 E. Michigan Avenue, on Wednesday November 12th followed by interment.
Memorial tributes may be made to Fredonia Grange or Christ Bible Church.
