Gary Allen Clymer, 51, of Olivet, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014. He was born on February 28, 1963, the son of Don Clymer and Phyllis (Simens) Hadden.
Gary served in the U.S. Army as a young man where he was wounded in the invasion of Grenada in 1983.He is a Purple Heart recipient. Gary later became an electrician and was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Gary is survived by his Mother of Olivet, three sisters, Rachel Prell of Battle Creek, Sheree Hadden of Battle Creek and Kim (Mark) Nelson of Apopka, FL; brother, Daniel (Ai) Hadden of Yokosuka, Japan. He was preceded in death by his Father and step-father, Richard Hadden.
Gary loved to go fishing, hunting, and do anything outdoors. He enjoyed playing the guitar and loved music. Gary enjoyed motorcycles and taking long road trips on his Harley.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday January 3, 2015 followed by a funeral service at 12 noon at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service 375 W. Dickman Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037.
