Gayle F. (Jackson) Shade, 62, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at University of Michigan Health Systems. She was born on November 30, 1951, the daughter of Henry Lee Jackson and Norma Jean (Armstrong) Jackson. Gayle retired from Davis Oil in 2008 after 19 years of service.
Gayle is survived by her Daughters: Dawn M. Reed of Battle Creek, MI and Tonia (Jeff) Oliver of Battle Creek, MI; Brothers: William (Charlene) Jackson of Murfreesboro, TN, Jeff Jackson of Jackson, MI, Greg Jackson of Michigan Center, MI and Danny Jackson of Jackson, MI; Grandchildren: Ashley, Brianna, Cassie, Tyler, Corey, Emily and Conner. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 25 years: Arlington "Butch" Richard Shade, Brother: Henry Jackson and Granddaughter: Danielle.
Gayle enjoyed crossword puzzles, baking and formerly enjoyed camping. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Level Park Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday October 9, 2014 from 4 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, October 10, 2014, at ???.
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
Memorials tributes may be made to the American Cancer Society.
