Howard “Bud” Bennett passed away on September 19, 2016 with his pretty momma by his side.
Howard was born on December 22, 1939 to Iven and Florence Bernice Bennett. Bud attended Battle Creek public school. He was an operating engineer for local 324. He was a member of the Battle Creek Shriners, Saladin Shriners, Free Masons, Local 12 and a NRA member.
A lover of the outdoors, he camped, fished and hunted. He tried to get up north every chance he could. Bud had a good life and enjoyed his family, his friends and some good food. Bud was always ready to tell a tall tale or play a joke. #1 B.S. Howard was a man of few words but his presence was huge. Our lives will never be the same.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years Imogene; daughter Christy(Lonnie) Root; sons; Bill(Paula) Bennett and Bing (Robin) Bennett; three(3) grandchildren; five(5) great grandchildren; a sister Darlene Connelly of Brighton, Michigan, and a brother Bob(Barbra) Bennett of Belleview, Michigan.
