Obituary for Jack Lee Wasson

Jack Lee Wasson, 82, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at home. He was born on February 12, 1933 the son of George Wasson and Clella (Lewis) Wasson.
Jack graduated from Lakeview High School. He worked at Kellogg's for 38 years before his retirement. He was a member of the 25 year club at Kellogg's.
Jack is survived by his Wife of 52 years - Phyllis Arlene (Belles) Wasson of Battle Creek, Michigan; Son, Tim (Cindy) Wasson; Two Daughters, Debbie (Mark) Baker, and Kathy (Larry) Hausman; Sister, Sandra (Don) Ingle; Five grandchildren, Ryan (Lyndin) Wasson, John (Debbie) Hausman, Lori (Steve) Schantzenbaker, Travis Baker, Todd (Kristy) Baker; Sister-in-law, Lill Wasson. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Son, Rodney Wasson; Brothers, Louis Wasson, and George Wasson; Sister, Pat.
Jack and Phyllis traveled the country buying and selling old antiques. The Old Store in Battle Creek was their passion and they enjoyed all of the findings that came through. After their retirement, they moved to Marble Falls, Texas where they continued their passion for antiques. They lived happily in Texas for 17 years before returning to Battle Creek to be closer to their children. He truly enjoyed bass fishing in Texas, New England Patriots football, and San Antonio Spurs basketball.
Private family services will be held.
