Jennifer J. Joiner (Wilk), age 40, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2014. Jennifer was born, January 22, 1974 to John & Shirley Wilk. She grew up in Battle Creek where she has met many lifelong friends. On April 4, 1996, she married the love of her life, William Joiner. They have shared 19 wonderful years of marriage and have two beautiful children, William “C.J.” Joiner, III & Payton. Jennifer’s children and family were her world. Jennifer was a caretaker to all. She was always there to offer help to someone in need. She enjoyed donating her time to the Battle Creek Birthday Cakes 4 Free Club, where she was becoming quite a skilled cake decorator. Her other interests included bingo, going to the casino, yard sales, family card games & get-togethers. We will all truly miss her infectious smile and sense of humor.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Bill; son, C.J.; daughter, Payton; brothers, John (Mari) Wilk, Joe (Laura) Wilk; sisters, April (Donnie) Lewis, Kellie (Tony) Floro, Cindi (Larry) Doerr; nieces & nephews, JJ, Meagon (Brandon), Jacob, Stephanie, Levi, Laine, Michael, Tommy (Marah), Stormy, Bryan, Tyler, Mark, Brandon, & Taylor; great-nieces & nephews, Dorian, Dannah & Owen; many special aunts, uncles & cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Shirley Wilk; great niece Danika, and several aunts, uncles, & cousins.

Family will receive friends at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 2:00pm-4:00pm & 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral Services will take place at the funeral home on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 2:00pm. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the Polish National Alliance Club. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to William Joiner.
