Joseph Gordon, age 56, of Boston, Massachusetts, departed his life on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Joseph was born May 29, 1957 in Boston, Massachesetts. He attended the Solon Lewinburg High School where he graduated in 1978. He briefly attended the Frank V. Thompson School. Over the years he worked for Solar Tech., Strite Shoe Company, the ITOA Taxi Company, and the Sheriton Hotel in Boston, MA. For the later part of his life, he was a professional painter. Due to his illness, he was unable to work. However, he enjoyed his life, his “favorite” beverage, and especially his family.

Joseph leaves behind his son, Shamon; immediate family, Jimmy Gordon, Catherine Gray, Ricardo Gordon, Vernice Gordon, Everette Wheathers; aunt Mary (Frank) Silva; special cousin Arthur; nieces, Pamela Gray, Stephanie Gordon, Jameka Gordon, La’Tasha Weathers; nephews, Lonnie Deon Marshall, Geeno Gordon, Lemont Gray. From his Boston side, he leaves additional brothers and sisters, Johnny Bruce, Cederic, Jerry, Gary, Valeri, and Andrea. The Battle Creek side, friends Jina, Tex, Cheryl, Bobby, and Val. Finally the family wants to acknowledge the support and comfort that has come from Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence.
