Joshua William Walkinhood, 32, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. He was born on November 6, 1984, the son of Fred Gordon Walkinhood and Debra Ann (Hanson) Young.
Josh is survived by his Son, Maxwell Walkinhood; Daughter, Emma Roman; Parents Debra and Dave Young; three Sisters, Jennifer Walkinhood, Monica Miller, and Bobbie Jo Hanson; five Uncles, Lyle Walkinhood, Tony Summerville, Ray (Bonnie) Keeler, James Hanson, and Joe Young; Grandmother, Annette Young; Aunt, Leslie (Doug) Masiguan and long time girlfriend, Lindsey Roman. He was preceded in death by his Brother, Jedidiah Hanson, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Josh enjoyed working with his hands, fixing cars, and tinkering with other things. He had a passion for knowledge and he was constantly eager to learn new information; regardless of the topic. Josh was a comedian and he loved to make people laugh and enjoy themselves. He was a caring, and selfless individual with a huge heart. He had a way about him that just brought joy to a crumby day. Josh truly loved the great outdoors and enjoyed fishing. He was also a huge Green Bay Packers and Bret Farve fan. He will be missed by all the lives he touched.
A graveside service will be held at the Rapid River Cemetery, Y Road, Rapid River, MI 49878 on .
Interment will take place in the Rapid River Cemetery.
