Judith R. James passed away Friday April 20, 2012 in Battle Creek. She was married Donald V. James November 5, 1955. Judith made crafts of all kinds, especially ceramics, floral arranging and making banners for church. She enjoyed playing cards and games as well as gardening and traveling.

Judith is survived by her husband, Donald V. James of 52 years; children, Donna M. Bolden, William L. (Debbie) James, Thomas D. “Scotty” James; grandchildren, Victoria R. Bolden, Branden S. James, Nathan S. James; great-grandchildren, Caleb & Cara Smith, cousins and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2055 Columbia Ave. E Battle Creek, MI 49014, on Tuesday April 24, 2012 at 11AM with Pastor Colleen Nelson officiating.
