Julie "JC" Ann York - Armstrong - Castle , 75, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Laurels of Bedford. She was born on December 28, 1939, the daughter of Robert Paul York and Ann (Bradley) York.
Julie was a graduate from Battle Creek Central High School.
Julie is survived by Daughter, Dawn Renee Armstrong of Battle Creek, MI; four Sons, Joe (Belinda) Armstrong of Lansing, MI, Robert (Amy) Armstrong of Bowling Green, KY, Michael Armstrong of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jerry (Dorothy) Armstrong of Battle Creek, MI; Brother, Joel (Pam) York of Phoenix, AZ; Step-Mother, Betty York of Battle Creek, MI; Numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; six close friends, Dorothy Bell, Shannon, Deborah, Natalie, Booker Barbie, Beverly, Judy Brown; Cousin, Carla; A host of people who considered our mother as their own. She loved you all as well. She was preceded in death by her Parents; a Son, Darrell Armstrong; Brother, Gerald York and Former Spouse, Joe "Karate Joe" Armstrong.
Julie enjoyed her cat "Mr." and loved her family.
A graveside service will be held at the Memorial Park Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 2435 W. Territorial Road, on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 1:00pm with Rev. Bridgette Banks officiating.
Interment will take place in Memorial Park Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
