Ka'Marion Devon Amerson of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born on October 20, 2014, the son of Karl Devon Amerson II and Courtney Marie Turner.

Ka'Marion is survived by his parents, Paternal Grandmother: Katina Mayes; Maternal Grandparents: Emanuel & Jarry Turner; Godmother: Shaylene Clarke; Great-Grandmother: Luretha Robinson; Great-Grandfather: Clyde Mayes Sr.; Aunts and Uncles: Montrell Brooks, Emanuel Turner III, Tyrinn, Robert, LeAndra,Tyesha, Ebony, and Bobby Amerson; Great Aunt Eloise Turner and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Karl Devon Amerson I and Great Grandmother, Veronica (Hale) Mayes.
A private family service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road.
Interment will take place in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorial tributes may be made to The Child Abuse/Neglect Prevention Council of Calhoun County, where grandmother Katina Mayes sits on the board.
