Larry Gene Erskine, 75, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. He was born on June 12, 1940, the son of Richard Harrison Erskine and Audrey Maxine (Ohl) Erskine.
Larry worked at Michigan Paper Board for 43 years before retiring in 2003.
Larry is survived by his Wife of 43 years - Laura (Blood) Erskine of Battle Creek, Michigan; four Daughters, Tammy (Stacey Hogan) Iden, Dawn (Jimmy Dillard) Erskine; Cara (Todd Snyder) Erskine; Kelly (Larry Wolfersberger) Smith; Son, Tony (Ilene) Erskine; 8 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Robert H. (Joyce) Erskine; special friend, Harry Dilling and their beloved dog, Max. He was preceded in death by his parents and Brother, Mark S. Erskine.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman. He had a passion for hunting and fishing up north in the U.P. He was a big jokester and loved making people laugh. Larry and his wife enjoyed woodworking together and made many memories creating things for the kids.
