Lee Emmett Elston, 77, of Battle Creek, MI, went to be with Lord, Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at his home. He was born June 5, 1935 the son of Leo Elston and Edith (Skinner) Elston.
Lee was employed at Reith Riley Inc. and then Lakeland Asphalt. Lee is survived by Son: Les Lee Elston of Denver, NC; Daughters: Julie Lee (Jeff) Burcham of Savannah, GA, Karen Elston of Sherrills Ford, NC and Penny Sue (Eddie) Eakins of Augusta, MI; 10 Grandchildren: Justin, Travis, Billi Jo, Jennifer, Teresa, Anthony, Joseph, Sasha, Alissa and Brock; 10 Great Grandchildren; Brother: Leo Elston; Sisters: Patty Blood, Ruth Summerfield, Beth Patznick and Joyce Clark. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sisters: Renee Paddie and Betty Elston.
Lee enjoyed wood working, fishing, gardening and watching his great granddaughter Sailor. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
A private service will be held.
