Leo John Wright, 92, of Climax, MI, died, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at The Manor of Battle Creek. He was born July 28, 1920 the son of Sidney John Wright and Ethel Mae (Stieger) Wright.
Leo was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. He was employed at Consumers Energy for 33 years and also farmed his entire life.
Leo is survived by Wife of 69 Years: Dorothy (Blowers) Wright of Climax, MI; Sons: Larry Wright of Climax, MI and Dennis (Judy) Wright of Climax, MI; Daughter: Sheri McNichols of Climax, MI; 9 Grandchildren & 11 Great Grandchildren; and Brother: Sidney (Dorothy) Wright of Battle Creek, MI. He was preceded in death by his Parents and his Sisters: Mary Saunders and Mildred Furrows.
Leo loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, bird watching and was a hard worker.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 4 PM to 7 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10:30 AM.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
