Leonard Lee Lawrence, 79, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. He was born on November 20, 1936, the son of Russell Adelbert Lawrence and Leona Viola (Jackson) Lawrence.
Leonard worked as a farm manger at Star Common Wealth and eventually bought his own farm. He was also a finished carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years - Nancy (Neblo) Lawrence; son, James (Cindy) Lawrence; two daughters, Cheryl Lawrence, and Amber (Jeff) Fleming; four step-sons, John Stout, Nicholas Stout, David Stout, and Daniel Stout; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Lyle (Donna) Lawrence and his beloved dogs, Scooter and Jake. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Leonard enjoyed woodworking and using his hands. Leonard has been a clown for 23 years plus his wife Nancy joined him 20 years ago; they had a clown themed wedding. They were named Flash & Splash. They dearly enjoyed painting faces, making balloons and entertaining. He had an adopted family and very much enjoyed going to Cracker Barrel to see them.
