Linda L. Coultes, age 61, of Marshall passed away at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence Monday, May 20, 2013. Linda was born on June 9, 1951 in Newton, Kansas to Arthur and Joyce Steinkirchner, when the peonies her grandparents raised there were in bloom. The family moved to Marshall in 1964 and Linda graduated with the Marshall High School class of 1969. She went on to attend Michigan State and received her Master’s from Western Michigan University. She was a Financial Planner with New York Life.

Linda was a wonderful mother, daughter, wife, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her laughter, friendship, kindness and the joy she took in life by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She loved her peony garden and took particular delight in sharing her flowers with others.

Linda is survived by her husband, Don; beloved son, Ben; parents, Arthur and Joyce Steinkirchner; sister, Susan Szeremet; brother-in-law, Fred Hecox; beloved nephews, Tim and Eric Hecox, Stewart (Amber), Stephen (Megan) Szeremet; great newphews, Chase and Brandon. Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Dani; sister, Nancy Hecox.
