Obituary

Linda Darlene Ritzenthaler was born February 23, 1947. She was the middle daughter of three beautiful girls, born to Marvin Gene Williams and Mary (Seabolt) Williams.
Raised in Logansport, Indiana she grew up in a Seventh-Day Adventist home giving her the foundation to put her trust in God above all.
She graduated from Andrews University in 1969 with a major in elementary education/English and a minor in social studies / general science. She eventually furthered her education getting her B.S. in Science.
In 1966 she fell in love with Robert Joseph Ritzenthaler while going to school at Andrews University. Two years later they committed their love for one another and promised to grow old together resulting in 51 loving years of marriage with 4 children, Robert, Aimee, Michelle, David and 4 grandchildren. Her academic achievements led her into teaching for the Seventh-Day Adventist church in 1987 in which she completed 27 years of professional service. She loved her family with all her heart and was dedicated to her teaching career making sure that all her children were supported with Christian education. Her love for adventure led her on mission trips around the world and her love for life resulted in a home full of laughter and animals. Her loving husband, children and family will always remember the day she passed away on August 2, 2020. But, as we make record of this date on Earth so does her Heavenly Father with plans to reunite her beloved family with her again in heaven.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 8 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service, with the graveside service immediately following at Oak Hill Cemetery starting at 3:30 pm.

Linda was one of my classmates at IA. She was a good student, friend and very decent, Christian girl I remember her lovely golden hair, always neat. When we were 9 or 10 yrs old, we were in the same cabin at Shakamak (sp?) State park for Junior camp. She will be missed.
