Lydia Jane Barnett, age 57 of Battle Creek, MI, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 surrounded by family. She was born to McKinley Fletcher and Pauline Gibson on August 21, 1956 in Salyersville, Kentucky. Lydia enjoyed baking and sewing. More than anything she loved her children and grandchildren and she lived for them.

She is survived by her special friend of 31 years, John Darr Thurman; children, Ronald Dean (Myria) Fletcher, Patricia (Johnathan) Thompson, Matthew (Echo) Pierce, Pauline Fletcher (David Bottomley); grandchildren, Little Ronald, Mitchell, Lydia, Megan, Morgan, Misty, Ethan, Harley, Cody, Sebastien, Haley, Braxten, Caden, Tristan, Kenzie; mother, Pauline Collins; siblings, Kash Fletcher, Wince Fletcher, Ellie Green, Nora Revile, Bonnie Roak, Vonda Miles, Linda Fletcher. She was preceded in death by father, McKinley Fletcher; sisters, Louise, Sally May, Sally Jean; brothers, Eddie Fletcher, Warnie Fletcher, Dean Fletcher, Clay Fletcher and Dickie Fletcher.
