Obituary for Marilyn Ann McKenzie

Marilyn  Ann  McKenzie
Marilyn Ann McKenzie, 81, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born on July 10, 1933, the daughter of William Lee Craig and Violet (Pierce) Craig.
Marilyn was a 1951 graduate of Lakeview High School. She was a bookkeeper at Top-Kut Meats for 18 years and later retired from Ferguson Fruin Construction.
Marilyn is survived by her Husband of 49 years: Edwin Allen McKenzie of Battle Creek, MI; Daughter: Debbie (Gene) Lienau-Hoefle of Salem, MI; Sons: Dusty (Lynne Schaub) Lienau of Battle Creek, MI and David (Rosa) Hendrick of San Antonio, TX; Grandchildren: Samantha Bush, Aric Latshaw, Clu (Misty) Reagan, Holly Morales, Ross Lienau and Megan (Matt) Menchaca; 10 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Marjorie Krug. She was preceded in death by her Brothers: Bobby and Harold Craig; Sister: Mildred Patterson.
Marilyn enjoyed family, friends, church activities, singing, she was an avid reader, Bunco player and was a member of several card clubs. She was an active member of the Lakeview Baptist Church for over 80 years and helped establish the Living Word Church. She performed 22 concerts for charity and was a member of T.O.P.S..
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday July 2, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Friday, July 3, 2015, 1:00 pm.
Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to: Living Word Church or Lakeview Baptist Church.
