Dear loved ones of my dear sister Marilyn. I have fond memories of Marilyn when growing up in Bad Axe and later when visiting Battle Creek. On Saturday mornings, the radio was tuned to the Children's Bible Hour. Sunday nights she was tuned into Songs in the Night and Revialtime. Years later in Battle Creek, creative meal preparations. Always a little extra special touch to the table and flavor of food. Visit to Holland Mich to enjoy the tulips and dune buggy ride. Tours of Kellogg's and Hot Air Balloon festival. Wonderful birthday gifts throughout the years. Great memories of a loving and caring sister. Marilyn introduce the Hammond organ to the Bad Axe Assembly of God church. I enjoyed observing her practice time. I greatly enjoyed being her audience for her dramatic readings. Marilyn was a great role model to a brother 7 years younger. (except, when she drove the family car into a ditch when making a turn into the Eicher / Bixler farm property. Warm Chocolate Chip cookies: I think the only time she got mad at me, was, when I would sneak into the kitchen and devour her fresh baked cookies. Some wonderful memories. With Love from her brother Ken Johnston (Los Gatos, California)
