It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter Melissa Christine Domsic age 32, born June 18, 1982 to August 29, 2014. Melissa graduated from Harper Creek High School in 2000 and Western Michigan University 2006. She was in the process of enrolling in ITT to further her education. Until recently she was employed by the Battle Creek School system as a Para-pro, where she still cherished the pictures and memories of all her young students. She is survived by her parents David and Penny (Shaver) Domsic of Ceresco, Grandfather Nicholas Domsic of Marshal, Brothers Wayne of Battle Creek and Scott and Olivia Jimenez, along with nephews Stephan and Devin of Cedar Lake Ind. Uncle John Provost of Tucson, AZ, Uncle William Julie (Shaver) Wilson of Richland, MI and Cousin Stacy (Provost) Bentley along with nieces Halley and Kayla of Tucson, along with her many friends. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Ervin and Evelyn Shaver, Rebecca Domsic and Aunt Mona (Domsic) Provost. Melissa had many interests beading, photography, writing, reading and the love of all animals especially her beloved cat Bella. She was a caring and loving person whose light will never fade to all who loved and knew her especially her parents.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Tuesday, September 02, 2014 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 2 PM.
A private interment will take place in the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Calhoun County.
