Michelle D'Ann (Bates) Roberson, 59, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at her home. She was born on May 3, 1955, the daughter of the late Floyd Dwaine Bates, Sr. and Gertrude Mae (Cross) Owens.
Michelle was a 1973 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School, attended beauty school and then attended KCC. She was formerly employed at Clarke Equipment and Lear Corporation.
Michelle is survived by her Husband: Walter A. Roberson of Battle Creek, MI; Daughters: Melissa DeWalt of Battle Creek, MI and Jamie Twyman of Battle Creek, MI; Sons: Joseph Twyman of Battle Creek, MI, Anthony Twyman of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Courtney (Jessica) Twyman of Mattawan, MI; Step-Daughter: Ashley Roberson of Battle Creek, MI; Step-Son: Michael Roberson of Battle Creek, MI; Sister: Stephanie Bates of Battle Creek, MI; Grandchildren: Martez, Corrie, Jovar, Anaya, Nikobi, Shylah, Kiera, London, Taj, Hunter and Jase and 6 Great Grandchildren; Nephews: Mario Howlett and Shane Howlett.
Michelle enjoyed art, drawing, music, cooking and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a fun, loving, giving lady who made life enjoyable for those around her. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Urbandale Congregation.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday June 27, 2014 from 11 AM to 2 PM where the family will be present 11 AM to 12 Noon.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall, 5561 East Morgan Rd, on Friday, June 27, 2014, 2:30 PM.
A Dinner will follow at Eagles Ridge, 801 Tecumseh Rd from 4 PM to 8 PM.
