Oscar Lee Edwards Sr., 78, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 8, 1938, in Grandview Mountain, Tennessee, the son of Harvey Edwards and Vesta (Morris) Edwards.
Oscar was an evangelist and ministered at many local churches. He was previously employed at United Steel & Wire.
Lee is survived by his Wife of 21 years - Lois Ann (Park) Edwards of Battle Creek, Michigan; Four Sons, Timothy (Janet) Edwards of Battle Creek, MI, Larry "Dennis" (Anna) Edwards of Newton Township, MI, James "Bill" (Kris) Edwards of Battle Creek, MI, Oscar Edwards, Jr. of Battle Creek, MI; Four Daughters, Janet (Floyd) Martin of Allegan, MI, Vesta (Christopher) Cary of Battle Creek, MI, Penny Edwards of Battle Creek, MI, Izetta Edwards of Battle Creek, MI; 31 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Two Former Spouses, Lizzie Edwards of Ocala, FL, Ellen Gallegos of Battle Creek, MI. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 12 Brothers and Sisters, one Son and a Grandchild.
Oscar was a jack of all trades; he enjoyed cutting wood, gardening, and spending time with his family.
