Patricia Louise Morgan, age 74, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 after a long illness. She was born June 24, 1939 in Racine, WI, the daughter of Robert L. Whyle and Margaret M. Ricchio. Patricia worked most of her life with the public and loved people. Most of her working career was spent in the food service industry. She was a hard worker and was employed with Orchard Park Food Market and Fin & Fowl Deli in Athens, MI. Patricia loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She played bingo, enjoyed camping, and cooking. Patricia was caring, giving, and always kind. She never knew any strangers. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing old country songs.

She is survived by her children, Paula (Greg) Royer, Jim (Angela) Morgan, Scott Gauna, Ziyah Blackstone, Gina (Robert) McKinney; grandchildren, Luke Royer, Courtney Morgan, Austin Morgan, Taylor Morgan, Alyssa Morgan, Shauma Gauna, Branden Gauna, Alexandra McKinney, Isabella McKinney; siblings, Peggy (Chuck) Bye, Mary (Dale) Traister, and Bob (Lynn) Whyle. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association or Evergreen Senior Care & Rehab Center.
