Peggy Jean Etheridge, 81, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with her late husband on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at her home . She was born on September 30, 1932, the daughter of the late Charles Reaves DeSpain and Mabel Adele (Fundaugh) DeSpain.
Peggy is survived by her Daughters: Gayla (Brian) Murphy and Sandra (Steve) Taylor; Sons: Michael Etheridge, Richard (Elizabeth) Etheridge, Duane Etheridge, Martin (Pamela) Etheridge and James "Kelly" (Kristina) Etheridge; 25 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchildren; Brother-In-Law: Bob (Barb) Etheridge; Sister-In-Law: Betty "Kitty"; Uncle: David (Velma) Fundaugh and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband of 59 years: James Etheridge (2010) and Sister: Louise Thacker.
Peggy enjoyed collecting ceramic shoes, arts, crafts, her dog " Sparky" and was a Tigers fan. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
A private family service will take place.
