Rachel Ann Farleigh, 70, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Laurels of Bedford. She was born on June 13, 1943, the daughter of Floyd M. Taylor and Barbara Ann (Warner) Taylor.
Rachel was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. She was a bus driver for Pennfield Schools and a for the City of Battle Creek. She also was a home health aid and hospice provider in the Battle Creek area for many years.
Rachel is survived by Daughters: Donna Gaw of Battle Creek, MI and Barbara (Richard) Stevens of Battle Creek, MI; Sons: Donald (Patti Rogers) Gaw of Battle Creek, MI and Kenneth (Sandi) Page Jr. of Battle Creek, MI; Grandchildren: Ashley, Taylor, Phillip, Samantha, Kylee, Zackary, Richie, Shiane, Adrian, Mackenzie, Ashlee, John and Michelle; 7 Great Grandchildren; Brother: Floyd (Diana) Taylor; Sisters: Pat King, Beverly (James Keeler) Taylor, Bonnie (Jerry) Clear and Gloria (Steve) Hartman. She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Brothers: James Taylor, Larry Taylor and Norman Taylor.
Rachel enjoyed bingo, garage sales and going up north with her brothers and sisters. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Friday, January 10, 2014, 2:00 pm with Pastor James Codde officiating.
