Ronald Andrew Ludwa, 62, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. He was born on October 25, 1952, the son of Walter Ludwa and Elizabeth (Grieve) Ludwa.
Ron attended St. Phil through 9th grade before graduating from Lakeview High School in 1970. He later graduated from Davenport University. He was a man of many trades and enjoyed doing many types of work. Ron was a great man and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Ron is survived by his father, Walter and step mother, Carol; two daughters, Amanda Hoxie and Nicole Rambo; son, Tony (Becky) Rambo; seven Grandchildren, Brianna, Brennen, Brylee, Luke, Jacen, Michael and Xavier; two Great grandchildren, Azayla and Camarion; three sisters, Amy, Maryann, and Barbara; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his Mother.
Ron loved baseball and attended two Detroit Tigers fantasy camps. He enjoyed golfing, skydiving, playing ping pong and anything outdoors from relaxing in the sun to working in the garage. His favorite thing in the world was spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandkids. He was a fun loving, free spirit. Ron loved the Beach Boys and attended many concerts.
A memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road on Monday February 9,2015, at 11:00 A.M with Pastor Travis Davis of Family Altar Chapel officiating.
Memorial tributes may be made to Bronson at Home Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
