Ruth Ann Jones, 70, of Flint, Michigan, was called home on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at her home. She was born on August 27, 1944.
Ruth is survived by her Daughters: Robin Calloway of Elizabeth City, NC and Jennifer Jones-Cooper of Newport News, VA; Son-in-Law: Donald Ray Cooper of Newport, VA; Grandchildren: Ian Calloway, Cari Cooper and Robert Sincere Cooper; Brothers: Roy Guy and James Guy; Sister: Mary Jackson; Significant Other: David Cremeans; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family.
She was preceded in death by her Grandmother: Ethel Grayer; Mother: Hattie Lee Guy; her Husband: Robert Sylvester Jones; Son: Troy Deon Jones; Brothers: Donald Guy, Ronald Guy, Jesse Potter and Unice Sharp.
Ruth enjoyed gardening, fishing, the outdoors, movies, shopping, arts & crafts and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday July 17, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
Interment will take place in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army whose mission she strongly believed in.
