Shawna Leigh Haggerty, 43, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2015 at her home. She was born on April 18, 1972 in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Shawna was a 1990 graduate of Harper Creek High School and received her Bachelor Degree from Western Michigan University in 1994. She was formerly employed at Post Cereals.
Shawna is survived by her Mother: Robin Dianna (Mike) Katz; Brothers: Clint (Jade Davis) Haggerty, Steven (Sharon) Hamilton, Ryan (Kelly) Katz and Aaron (Leslie) Katz; Sister: Lindsey (John Van Doorn) Katz; Fiance: Westley Rietkerk; Nieces & Nephews: Gavin, Davis, Mason, Emily, Avan, Layla, Colton and Emerson; Special Friends: Teresa & Jerry Rietkerk. She was preceded in death by her Father: Wayne Arthur Haggerty.
Shawna enjoyed dragonflies, her cats, gardening, sewing, knitting and loved time with her family.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Thursday June 18, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 10:30 am.
Interment will take place in the Newton Township Cemetery.
