Simone Chareice Rogers, 51, of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born on September 20, 1964, the daughter of Wilber Bolds and Georgia Lee (Smith) Forbes.
Simone graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1983. After high school she attended Kellogg Community College and began working.
Simone is survived by her two Daughters, Simone Nicole Rogers, and Se-yon Monique Rogers; two Grandchildren, Montae D. Howlett, and Demariana L. Bolden; Mother, Georgia (Willie) Rogers; two Sisters, Banicia D. Rogers of IN, and Theresa Morah of OH; three Brothers, Ronald D. Rogers of MI, Arnold D. (Alisha) Rogers of MI, Anthony Bolds of OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family. She was preceded in death by her Father, Wilbert Bolds.
Simone found much enjoyment out of listening to music. She loved her family above all else, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed gathering her family together for wonderful meal and quality time.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Saturaday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Greg Taylor officiating.
Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
